Mimi & Soso was founded in 2020 by Pei-chi, and is run by her and her family. Named after Australian Shepherds Mia & Sophie (heads of Quality Control and Assurance, respectively), the brand focuses on quality freeze dried single ingredient treats!
You’ll find a wide variety of quality protein products including seafood like squid and shellfish, frog legs, bison, rabbit, and more. Fruit and vegetable selections like raspberries, blueberries, bananas, peas, and carrots; and they also make freeze-dried candy for the hoomins!
Mimi & Soso also donates a percentage of EVERY sale to pet charities and rescues. To date they have donated over $8000!
We first discovered Mimi & Soso at ModernK9 and it became a fast favourite! The fun puppy ramen bowls are a perfect treat and the healthy proteins, fruits and veggies are great for everyday use to add nutrients to your pet's diet.

We came across Green Paw treats at the Halifax Farmers' Market (the oldest continuously operating farmers' market in North America since 1750!) while on a family vacation a couple years ago and our pets have loved the products since! We have to store ours in a secure location, since BuckyCat has torn into more than one bag of these -- and Green Paw is the only brand that can claim that 'honour'!

Ollie B. Good was inspired by Ollie, my foodie of a mini dachshund that would inhale his meals so fast that he was combating indigestion and vomiting on the regular. We started our small business journey back in 2023 after realizing the pet industry needed more functional, AND aesthetic enrichment tools. We got to work on designing the Zoomies Slow Feeder.
We really loved the idea that silicone was easy on the gums and of course would be dishwasher-, microwave-, and freezer-safe for convenience. Our goal from the beginning was to strive for originality, be breed-inclusive and most importantly, to keep the pet and pet parent’s functional considerations at the forefront. Whether your pet is a vacuum at mealtime or just needing some daily mental stimulation, we love to encourage every pet parent to enrich the lives of their pets, one OBG goody at a time.

What started as a small idea quickly grew, and today, the beautiful, sweet Eva carries the torch as the face of these treats!
Every bag is made with love, using simple, wholesome ingredients, baked in small batches right here in Alberta.
